yeah, crazee work and life, i suppose..

i haven't posted here since the four big defining events life's held for us lately:

1) we're pregnant. we've known for a while, as it was medically induced, but to get the full, 12-week-confirmation (and resultant pictures) kicked much ass.

2) the divine ms. m. and i had a mini-cation to a.a. for an evening of heavy-duty/heavenly hanging out. well-planned and much-needed, things were right on so many levels it's still a bit tough to capture and understand. which is why i'm trying not to at this moment in time. the fact that a) the boss was so encouraging and cool about the whole thing, and b) it was so much goddamned fun has been a boost and insight all around.

3) the cali trip held several cool things in store - a 19 year reunion with an old friend and a 2 year reunion with another. good times - big plans....

4) well, to-be-defined: big motorcycle ride with lee and dad this weekend. first since the V/L NE ride of 2007. bike's getting tuned up right now. giddiness to begin in 5...4...3...2...
